NRDC, HSUS, et al. v. Dept. of Interior, et al. (Endangered Species Act)

Case challenging Bush Administration's end-of-term attempt to ease Endangered Species Act consultation requirements. The challenged regulations allow agencies like USDA and Department of Transportation to determine unilaterally whether an action will harm endangered species, avoiding Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service's required expert scientific analysis.
