Roberts & Abrams v. Mintz
The HSUS filed an amicus curie brief in support of the Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment. The Defendant was the victim of a SLAPP suit, a sham lawsuit intended to silence one's critics, brought by a pair of notorious NJ puppy mill dealers because he blogged about their unscrupulous business practices including sales in violation of the NJ "puppy lemon law" through misrepresenting the origin, health, age and breed of the dog they sold.
