The HSUS et al. v. Empire State Development Corporation, New York State Public Authorities Control Board and Hudson Valley Foie Gras (Foie gras subsidies)


New York state court action challenging the decision of the Empire State Development Corporation, and the New York State Public Authorities Control Board to issue a grant of $420,000 in state money to Hudson Valley Foie Gras to enable the factory farm to expand its operation and increase the number of ducks it cruelly force-feeds from 250,000 birds to 325,000.
