Darci Adams came to the Humane Society of the United States with a background in animal sheltering and advocacy. She has worked on campaigns and supported animal protection policies at both the state and local levels; she helped South Dakota become the 50th state with felony provisions for egregious acts of cruelty. On native lands within the boundaries of the Dakotas, Darci has assisted tribes with ordinances, programs and spay/neuter initiatives.
