Carnival Corporation & plc, working with The Humane Society of the United States, announced that it will switch to 100 percent cage-free eggs across all of its brands by 2025. This announcement is the latest step in Carnival Corporation’s years-long work to address animal welfare in its supply chain.
Carnival Corporation—the world’s largest travel and leisure company—includes 10 global cruise line brands including Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, Holland America Line, Cunard, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, P&O UK and P&O Australia, as well as its newest brand, Fathom, dedicated to social impact travel.
“Carnival Corporation and our brands recognize animal welfare is an important issue for our guests, and addressing it is part of our ongoing commitment to how we operate,” said Roger Frizzell, chief communications officer with Carnival Corporation. “We have been working with our suppliers in this area, and look forward to continuing our efforts as we work towards our goal of 100% cage-free eggs.”
