More than 300 local animal rescue and shelter personnel are registered to attend upcoming trainings on animal behavior being held in Ohio. The training hosted by the Humane Society of the United States in partnership with the ASPCA aims to inform attendees on how to interpret and respond to canine body language, incorporating stress-reduction strategies for animals within the shelter, and assessing how behavior should (and sometimes should not) influence adoptions. This training is supported by the Ohio County Dog Warden’s Association.

Media is invited to attend. Interview opportunities with presenters can be arranged.

The sessions will take place in Medina, Dublin and Cincinnati. All sessions run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and are complimentary.
