Hitting the runway on September 22, 2012, in Los Angeles, our fur-free fashion show, H-Couture, was a celebration of the latest in designer menswear and womenswear for conscious living.
Wear the pin—not fur!
Through H-Couture, we're promoting fur-free fashion and asking celebrities to make their support known by wearing our cool no fur pin. Click through the slideshow above to check out who's made the pledge!
"There's nothing sexy about wearing animal fur! Let's all pledge to go fur-free," declares H-Couture 2012 co-host Torrey DeVitto.
We couldn't agree more, which is why Torrey and her H-Couture co-host husband Paul Wesley are helping us get both the word and the no fur pin out to celebrities who are prepared to say no to the suffering and killing of animals for the sake of fashion and yes to the many compassionate and sexy alternatives.
Mayim Bialik of "The Big Bang Theory" signed on and announced, "I don't wear fur because animals were not made to adorn us; they were made to adore us." And singer Nellie McKay says, "I don't wear fur because being skinned alive is no fun."
