Be a force for change and join The Humane Society of the United States for our To the Rescue! Los Angeles benefit on Saturday, April 22nd at Paramount Studios to raise support for our Farm Animal Protection campaign.
Working to give a voice to farm animals, The HSUS is making history for farm animals, reducing the number of animals raised and killed for food by helping large institutions, such as school districts and hospital chains, implement popular campaigns like Meatless Monday. In addition, we're working with major retailers to reduce animal suffering in their supply chains by helping them phase out the worst factory farming practices. And of course, The HSUS routinely conducts undercover investigations into the hidden world of factory farming and slaughter plants. With your support, our investigations have led to slaughter plant closures, meat recalls, criminal convictions and federal policies to protect animals.
This year's gala will feature a cocktail reception and decadent vegan dinner. Join HSUS President and CEO Wayne Pacelle and Vice President of Farm Animal Protection Josh Balk for an unforgettable evening to support HSUS' farm animal protection campaign. RSVP Now! Help us make history for animals throughout the country and right here in our backyard.
Our Honorees include U.S. Senator Cory Booker receiving the Humanitarian of the Year award, along with a special presentation of the Impact Award in memory of Christina Grimmie.
The premier national conference for animal advocacy brings together diverse individuals from across the country for a shared goal: to improve the lives of all animals. Participants gain a better understanding of the many issues that animals face in our society and how to help.
