Safe and sound
Since its gates first opened in 2008, Duchess Sanctuary has transformed from an uninhabited, barbed wire-laden piece of property to a beautiful, lifelong safe haven for rescued equines.
The 1,120-acre facility south of Eugene, Ore. is an oasis for approximately 175 formerly abused, abandoned, neglected and homeless horses. Duchess Sanctuary is committed to providing the highest standards of equine care and the loving kindness these horses deserve.
