Annie Hornish was a state representative for Connecticut's 62nd District (2009-10) prior to joining the Humane Society of the United States in 2011, where she co-founded the bipartisan caucus “Legislators for Animal Advocacy” and led the passage of many animal welfare laws. She regularly serves on animal welfare task forces and working groups. Hornish is honored to lead Connecticut’s “army of the kind” in fighting for all animals, passing laws year after year that move us toward a more humane world.
