Midge Grinstead has spent the last 28 years working for animals at the local, state and federal level. As a past shelter director, she has served on a variety of animal welfare boards, including the Governor’s Pet Animal Board and the Ks Animal Control Assoc. Board since 2012. Grinstead has helped with many seizures for animal cruelty including one in Kansas that had 11 big cats including a tiger, cougars, servals and more. She loves animals and once had a pet chicken named Hoppy.
