Aaron Zellhoefer is an experienced animal policy leader in Minnesota. Over the past decade, he helped pass the first-of-its-kind bill mandating Minnesota universities to offer up dogs and cats for adoption after being used in research. He also helped pass an “ag-gag” resolution, a bullhook ban, a pet trust law and most recently, a fur shop ban. Zellhoefer lives in Minneapolis with his partner. When he is not running around the lakes of Minneapolis, he is probably running on the Superior Hiking Trail.
