Kurt Ehrenberg has led our work in New Hampshire since 2021, bringing with him decades of experience in politics and public affairs. During his tenure, Ehrenberg has helped the Humane Society of the United States pass landmark wildlife protection legislation and a number of other animal welfare measures in New Hampshire. A dog owner all his life, he has a special interest in issues around puppy mills and inhumane breeding methods. He lives with his adopted terrier, Lily, in Portsmouth.
