Elissa Frank previously worked as the Director of Legislative Affairs for a member of the New Jersey General Assembly in Trenton where she worked with stakeholders and elected officials on a wide range of animal welfare issues, including declawing cats and the shark fin sale/trade. Elissa’s work in Trenton reaffirmed her desire to pursue a career advocating for animals. Elissa holds a B.A. in Political Science from The College of New Jersey and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark. In her free time, Elissa loves to try new vegan recipes, follow vegan and sustainable fashion and take her best friend, shelter adoptee Chloe, for long walks.
