Lauren Loney is a Texas native and attorney living in Austin. She has her bachelor’s in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology and a master’s in Aquatic Resources. In addition to her work as a field biologist, Loney has extensive experience crafting state policies and local ordinances, lobbying at the Texas legislature, grassroots organizing and volunteer engagement. She has been actively involved in various animal welfare nonprofits since graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 2017 and is an active foster mom for Austin Animal Center. Loney has two dogs, Daffodil and Ranger.
